Boat-hire: We offer boat-hire to our guests. All are 16' long and are equipped with 15 Hp outboard engines. Day and weekrental.

Bikes: Bikes for adults and children for rent. Day and weekrental.

Internet: PC and internet. Day and weekrental.

Skudeneshavn: Walks, museums , the park and the ”old-town” are all within walking distance (ca. 800 metres). The old-town offers protected wooden architecture, which has hardly changed since the 1850’s.

Playground: Large, award-winning playground in the centre of Skudeneshavn.

Hikes: Marked tracks lead from the camp-site, through the hills, to Kopervik.

Beach-life and boating: We are situated only 800 metres from a beattiful beach and marina, where you will find our boats.

Angling: Shore based fishing is available close by.

Golf: Karmøy Golfklubb 9 hole course is our closest neighbour.

Other Karmøy sites and activities:

Vigsnes Grubemuseum. New York’s Statue of Liberty was made using copper from the Visnes mines.

The Vikinggården (viking village) and the Olav’s Church.

Shopping: Good shopping opportunities are availabe 40 km from Skudenes, on the mainland: Oasen Storsenter (mall), Amanda Storsenter (mall) and central Haugesund cater to all shopping needs.

Excursions: Day-trips to Utsira, Røvær and Feøy are very popular. These idyllic islands can be reached daily from Haugesund.

Longer trips: A ferry connection exists between Skudenes and Stavanger via Kvitsøy . It sails south across the Boknafjorden from the Skudenes harbour (Rv. 47, ca. 1.5 km). Bergen can be reached in about 3.5 hours by car.
